Believe it or not, last month I saw a quite good musical adaptation of Mrs. Dalloway at Cincinnati Shakespeare. It tended to romanticize the material, but that’s what musicals do.
Thanks for sharing the information about VW and her novel- I hadn't realised Septimus was meant to represent the 'double' of Mrs D. That gives me a whole new perspective to think about when we read it together.
